SUBTLE WAYS TO DEMOTIVATE YOUR BULLY

"Bullying breaks our hearts and souls and that is exactly what the bully wants."
Bullying isn't considered a crime, but should be considered worse than a crime as it kills us both from outside and inside. No one can understand the pain and depression a person goes through if she or he is being bullied. Sometimes we just stand as spectators of a crime going on in front of us.
The only way to stop the act of bullying is to stand against it. But, some other ways can be applied that will surely demotivate a bully, and eventually she or he will stop bullying by themselves.
Apply some of these methods.

  1. Try to ignore.
Acting as if their words or actions are not affecting you will be a big sign to the bully that the things aren't going their way. This can demotivate the kind of people who like instant results of their words and actions. Ignoring can be hard, but easier than a confrontation that you wouldn't like.

      2. Appeal to their conscience.

This would be easier for the people who like to see good in everyone. You have to lightly talk to the person who is bullying you. Try to convince them that what they are doing is not right. Say, "I respect everyone's opinions, but right now you are hurting me by saying this." Some might not like to be this much polite with their bully. They can try, "You have no right to speak whatever you want to."

      3. Make them realize your condition.

By this I mean that you have to convince them that they could be at your place too. Have a hard and tough voice to make this work. Say, "What if you were at my place right now?" Or, "You wouldn't like to hear that about yourself, would you?"

     4. Tell them that they are not any better off than you.

Be rough here. Say that everyone is the best in their own way and they shouldn't be so proud of themselves.

Most people will stop bullying by themselves. If they don't, stop hesitating and complain it to the authority of your institution. Things have to be tackled this way if nothing seems to stop.
Depression due to bullying should never be ignored. The signs of sadness and pain in your child or yourself should be dealt with smartness.
